Phase Two: Weaving the Magic

At VENTURA DESIGN we pride ourselves on the quality of our products, which are designed and crafted with love here in Ireland.

Fulfilling a long-held ambition, we recently began manufacturing all of our sofas, armchairs, dining chairs and tables in our own factory where everything is customised to meet our clients requirements and expectations.

Upholstery Team

From a special depth of the sofa seat to a particular height and width of arm, or from the pipe detail on the chair to the detail on the legs, every minute detail of our furniture is bespoke – carefully selected by our design team in conjunction with our clients and handcrafted to suit their unique style and individual needs. Each upholstery piece can take up to six weeks to make from frame to finish and when our clients receive the end product they can be safe in the knowledge that it has been created with love, just for them.

Curtain Making Team

We believe our curtain makers are the best in Ireland and therefore it’s hardly a surprise that this is such a big part of our service. The fabrics are chosen from our exclusive range of luxurious textiles and are customised to fit our clients’ exact window sizes. Each detail is carefully considered, from length, width and fullness to interlining, trimming, pleating and pole style. You can see some samples of our curtains and our extensive fabric library in our Deansgrange and Blanchardstown showrooms.

Joinery Team

We work with the best craftsmen and women to create customised joinery for homes and businesses. Our internal designers compile working drawings for our joinery team to build from and each detail is specified by Ventura from the door, handle, carcass, frame, shelf thickness and panel depth to paint tone and finish.

With all the furniture and furnishings complete our artisans get ready to work on the installation with our design and logistics team. Stay tuned for the big reveal in the next blog!
