Today we are joined on Shut the Front Door by TV Host and Podcaster Brian Dowling Gourounlian. Brian first became a household name across the UK & Ireland when he won the second-ever series of Big Brother UK in 2001.  He subsequently went on to be crowned the Ultimate Big Brother in 2010. Since then he has become a regular & most loved presenter across many TV programmes and radio stations, at home and abroad.

Brian grew up in Rathangan in Co Kildare and is the eldest in his family with 6 sisters coming after him. He lost his beloved mother Rosie in 2018 to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome, and through his own journey of grief, has recently created a ground-breaking podcast called Death Becomes Him. In it, he talks to people about their own loss and grief, while helping all those who listen in too. Married to the Creative Director & Choreographer Arthur Gourounlian, we are so excited to speak to you today Brian & hear all about your story of home.
