We are absolutely delighted to have John Fitzpatrick speaking to us today, from his home in New York. John is a well-known hotelier and philanthropist and owner of the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group New York. A native of Dublin, he started off his career working in the family business of hotels in the ’70s and ’80s. John opened the door of the famous “Fitzpatrick Manhattan”, a go-to destination for any Irish visiting the city,  in December 1991 and has called New York home ever since. Giving back is especially important to John, who set up The Eithne and Paddy Memorial Fund in memory of his beloved parents. Millions have been raised since their first event, for charities such as Barretstown and Barnados, with the hope of making significant positive impacts for those that really need it.
