A fantastic feature in Harper’s Bazaar Interiors showcasing the makeover of Luttrellstown Castle Resort by Ventura Design.

Over the last few years, Luttrellstown Castle has undergone refurbishments by interior designer and founder of Ireland-based Ventura Design, Arlene McIntyre, with scrupulous attention to detail to maintain the castle’s cherished primeval glory.

The present castle-turned-resort is a late 18th-century reconstruction in Gothic-style, with robust elements of Tudor revival. The result is a celebrated amalgamation of contemporary luxe, primeval features and antiques. The interior of the castle is largely the work of painters, plasterers, artists and decorators of the early-to-mid 20th century, with some gems dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries and each room honing a story of centuries before.

In continuation of its commitment to design excellence, modish interiors and luxe experiences, Luttrellstown Castle Resort, in collaboration with Ventura Design, has added eight bespoke bedrooms to the current 12-bedroom exclusive-hire venue, offering intimate luxury and hospitality combined with opulence of the 15th century medieval era. The opportunity to experience a fairytale castle adventure makes a stay at Luttrellstown Castle Resort an experience of a lifetime.
