Designed and fitted out by Creative Director of Ventura, Arlene McIntyre, the Marina Village Super Penthouse in Greystones, Co.Wicklow showcases relaxing neutral tones to draw in the landscape from the stunning views outside.

Situated in Greystones, Co.Wicklow, the Marina Village Super Penthouse, which was designed and fitted out by Creative Director of Ventura, Arlene McIntyre, has a living space that spans 240sqm.The penthouse exudes glamour and has since sold for €2.5 million.

With unrivalled views of the sea, Arlene wanted to thread through a Hampton’s vibe, which is evident in the East Coast of America. Arlene decided to go for a neutral warm palette throughout the penthouse, and the focus was to ensure the tones felt very timeless and tonal. The main colours used were Quartz, Frappe and Soft Taupe from Ventura’s Colour Collection with Fleetwood Prestige.

The sophisticated kitchen areawas created in a rich ebony tone, so that they tied in with the ebony wood finish on the dining table and bespoke furnishings that Ventura also created throughout the property. Rich burgundy tones are evident throughout. Deeper tones and wood finishes helped to create pockets of intimacy in this space.

The contrasting living room area showcases relaxing neutral tones which are popped with green to draw in the landscape from the views outside.

The master bedroom (the penthouse boasts three bedrooms in total) exudes the very best of fabrics, including luxurious velvets and linens, which are threaded through all of Ventura’s bespoke furniture, including their solid wood headboard which is covered in Ventura’s signature Nordic grey finish.

All bespoke furnishingsand joinery forthis project was created and supplied by Ventura. The paint colours used throughout the penthouse are from their new exclusive paint range with Fleetwood Prestige. The Ventura Collection for Fleetwood Prestige contains 60 contemporary and 14 nursery colours.

Exclusively curated by Ventura’s Creative Director, Arlene McIntyre, this spectrum of shades contains soft classic neutrals accented with striking bold colours, guaranteed to create the

perfect backdrop to any room.

Top Tip from Arlene McIntyre when selecting a paint tone:

“When selecting paint tones, we always try and start with the fabrics first and then pull the most neutral tone out of it to frame the space. Neutrals are always a good choice with adding a tone into a room. You can add in accessories to colour-pop a space much easier than repainting a room.”
