Sophie Stanbury studied at the renowned Inchbald School of Interior Design and after gaining valuable experience on a number of projects began designing interiors for residential and commercial spaces. Sophie’s desire to train professionally began after previously heading up the designer’s relations team at Swarovski where she was working with designers in fashion, stage and screen, lighting, jewellery and product design.
She has recently been appointed as a senior in-house designer for Ventura Design which has a flagship showroom at the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour. From 2020 Sophie will be putting her experienced interior design skills to use across a number of UK projects for the successful Dublin based company, which specialises in a turn-key service for projects across the residential and commercial sector. “We are delighted that Sophie is joining our team of designers,” says Arlene McIntyre, Creative Director of Ventura “she is a highly creative and dynamic designer committed to the Ventura aesthetic, and her social media presence is always an inspiration to us.”
Sophie is based in London and has been bringing her classic contemporary aesthetic to projects since 2010. Working with clients her aim is to get the most out of their living and entertaining spaces so that they are stylish, contemporary and above all comfortable
Her recent projects include Boutique Baller in Mayfair, residential homes in London, Cobham and Farnham and she is currently working on a NY apartment, Hotel and the next Boutique Baller store in the Middle East.
